Summer Sun - June 2015

June was a super fun month for us. We had a lot of family time together and we really enjoyed ourselves! Started out the month with my birthday. The only photo I got was of Monet enjoying her doughnut :)

We continued to enjoy Tyson's Fridays off and went to the Museum of Curiosity. It was our first time there and the kids really loved it!
I think both the kids especially loved the water fun. This is where we spent the bulk of our time!
Tyson took me out to dinner for my birthday and his sister, Emily, watched our kids for us. When we got back to pick up the kids they surprised me with birth-day drinks and s'mores! It was a lovely summer night!
Kids are still growing like weeds!
Abe has been cracking us up with how often he will wear his Hulk gloves! He doesn't care that it is hard to get anything done with them on. He wants to wear them all the time!
Monet fell down and hit the corner of a coffee table on the way down. She cut her chin open and needed 3 stitches. She was not a happy camper about it.
I thought I could be a brave momma and take her on my own to get the stitches. As I was holding her down on the table (and the Dr was opening and closing the wound to show me how deep it was) I ended up passing out on top of Monet...... Turns out I probably shouldn't be the one to take the kids when they need stitches. I sat down and the nurses held down my little lady while the Dr did what he needed to do.
Monet had her toes painted for the first time
We spent a lot of time at the park.
Our niece, Ellie, had a birthday!
Monet got her stitches out, and daddy was the one to hold her this time.
We took a road trip to Wyoming! Tyson and Ben had a High School Reunion and we decided to make the trek up there and go! The kids did really well!
This is the house the Ellis family lived in when they were living in this part of Wyoming.
We were able to stay with Tyson's "second family" while we were there. The house he probably spent MOST of his teenage years at.
We were able to play at the park with cousins
We visited Tyson's high school and shoved Abe in Tyson's old locker.
The kids got to go to their very first Rodeo! Well the first rodeo for Monet and Abe at least.
We also had fun visiting different restaurants and shops in Meeteetse. We even hit up the local museum and learned all about the area. The kids loved exploring and we really had a great time!

Sunshine in May 2015

We had some more adventures this month with Tyson having this new work schedule. Spent a lot of time up in the mountains enjoying the fresh air. The kids love exploring new places!

We were able to meet up with some friends and Monet might have started a little crush on our friend Sebi. They were really cute playing together.

Abe got brave and wanted to explore in the water a little bit.
He did end up falling in shortly after this. Lucky for us we had some spare clothes in the car and we were able to get him changed.
Sometimes church is hard with two little ones. We spend a lot of our time in the hall talking about being reverent. Occasionally though, these two hold hands and help calm each other down. I love these kids, even if they are hard sometimes.
Monet is learning the joys of reading.
Abe has been potty training but has been having a hard time with #2. He seemed scared about things so we decided he would get a big prize if he could pull it off consistently. He was able to  get things down and we took him to the store to pick out his prize. Of course he chose the huge HULK mask and gloves! He even told the cashier "I get these because I went poop in the potty!" She was very nice even if she thought we were weird.

At Crown family dinner this month we were able to get a few pictures of Grami and Grandpa with all 5 of their grandkids!
Abe has been discovering his artistic side. He really loves "sculpting" with play doh and there have been many times where he has requested to sculpt with daddy. They sit out in the art studio for hours and sculpt together. I love catching these moments!
Unfortunately, along with Abe's creativity blooming he also decided to experiment with silly putty in the hair..... Turns out, hand sanitizer dissolves silly putty, so we were able to get it all out. But it was not fun....
We spent a lot of time at the park behind our house this month as well. We really are so lucky to live where we do!

Finally Some Snow! April 2015

We have really had a mild winter this year. Not a whole lot of cold and not a whole lot of snow. We have kept inside a lot because of everyone being sick on and off but have really enjoyed having time together.

In April I was able to attend a baby blessing for Harlo. He is such a sweet boy and I was so happy to be there! Tyson and the kids had to stay home because of being sick but I was glad to be able to go.

We finally got some snow! I can't believe it didn't come until April but we were glad to see it! The kids loved getting dressed up in snow suits and playing in it!

They even learned the joys of eating snow!

Monet got her first ice cream cone this April. She loves ANY kind of food, so we weren't surprised to find out that she loves this sweet treat.
Tyson's work schedule changed a little bit this month. He now works 4, 10 hour shifts a week. This means he has Fridays off! We decided to take advantage of this and when the weather was right, we went hiking at Bridal Veil Falls as a family. It was really fun to play outside with the kids. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful state!
The boys had a lot of fun exploring. The girls preferred to sit back and watch.
Abe didn't even TRY to walk down, he just relied on Tyson hanging tight on his arm and kind of slid down the mountain. Silly boy!

I got to meet my new nephew this month too! Little Zachary is just as precious as can be! He looks just like his big brother did and I LOVE every chance I get to hold him!
I really tried to get a good picture of these four cousins hanging out in the tub together, but this is the best I could get for now.
Monet discovered this month that she likes to help mommy in the kitchen. Too bad mommy can't trust her to do much! mostly she stands at my feet while I do the cooking.
All in all it was an amazing month. We had a lot of family time and loved it! These kids are growing fast and I am so glad we get to spend so much time with them watching them grow!

March 2015

March was where things started to slow down for us a little bit. We had so much we dealt with in January and then February was full of play, so we took March to relax and play as a family. It was really good for all of us.

I did, however, have a big Perfectly Posh event in March. We had our Day Away event. This is an event where consultants from near by can get together, try new products, see the new catalog and get training! I was able to have a lot of fun at this event.
I made goody bags for my teammates that were able to attend!
I was able to go with my good friend Jessica. We did a scavenger hunt along the way and had a great time!
We also were able to have a great lunch out together as a team!
There was a little bit of snow in March, but not much.... Still a very mild winter for us!
Abe spent a lot of time teaching Monet about PlayDoh. He will sit with her for a long time explaining how the molds work and showing her how to do things herself. This is one of my favorite things to see, not only them playing nice together, but big brother teaching little sister! I love these kids.
Tyson and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. This year we celebrated at home. I ordered him some awesome meats, we cooked them up together and just spent time together. That's love, folks. When you can sit at home together and it feels just as special as going out would have.
Well that wraps up March! Like I said, it was a pretty light month for us :)
