August 2015

August was good to us! Lots of really great weather and fun things to do!
Monet is coming into her personality more and more. She loves to try on shoes and carry around purses. There isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't crack us up!
I went back to work and this meant we had to figure out child care. After A LOT of research we were able to find a learning day care really close to our work. The kids had their first day of "school" and took right to it! I was not able to get a great picture of their first day but wiggly toddlers are hard to get pictures of!
Abe is continually enjoying learning how to cook and helping in the kitchen. Any chance he gets he will be right there helping out.
Tyson and I are happy to announce that we are expecting baby #3! There is a new family member coming our way! Monet is not so sure about it.
We celebrated our friend, Nate's birthday. He isn't one for pictures, so I had to take what I could get!
We have had such a great garden this year! Every day we are able to make a smoothie out of our own berries and kale! Abe has been loving it!
Abe has become more gangster this summer......

We really can't pass up a splash pad when we see one. Even if we are not dressed for it.
Abe learned that sometimes mom has pregnant cravings that are a little intense....
For Crown family dinner this month we decided to get together and have a water party! The kids loved splashing, running, and playing together! We had water balloons and all sorts of fun stuff!
We had a crazy sprinkler to jump over.
We even had a slip'n'slide! Monet didn't really get it.....
We ended the month with a HUGE rainstorm. We don't often get those here so Tyson and the kids really enjoyed watching the storm from the window. I am so glad I caught this moment! It doesn't get better than this!

Jam Packed July 2015

We have been having a lot of fun this summer so far. The kids love playing together and it has been really great! July was jam packed for us and we loved every minute of it.
Okay maybe I shouldn't say that we loved EVERY minute of it. My dad fell at the beginning of July and broke a few ribs, hurt his back and basically was out of commission for a while. He was a good sport and has joked about it a lot. I was able to visit with him while he was in the hospital and helped him wrap a turban to keep his head warm. Yes, this is where I get it from, my dad is a goober.
Kids continue to grow and change. I can't believe how big the two of them are getting!
We had some family over for the 4th of July and lit some fireworks in the area behind our house. We weren't able to do our HUGE firework event this year but we had a lot of fun anyway! (yes the picture is upside down, I can't figure out how to correct it)
Monet discovered the joys of unrolling the toilet paper roll. We now have to make sure the bathroom door is ALWAYS closed.
Abe and I went on a date! Just the two of us went to see Inside Out in the movie theater and we LOVED it. So much fun to go out with my little man!
Of course, we enjoyed the sunshine and spent more time at the park.
We had the chance to take care of our nieces and nephews for 10 days. I went from being a mom of 2 to being a mom of 7 overnight and it was a wild ride! We had so much fun while they were with us and my kids were in heaven!
We spent time at different parks.
We went to a splashpad and met up with other friends there! This is Monet and her friend Kora, they do love each other, I promise.
Abe loves splash pads, but I think he loves them even more when his cousins are there with him!
Monet, well..... she doesn't love them......
We watched fireworks for the 24th at the flight park up by Tyson's parents house.
We had a birthday party for Lincoln!
We even had a Crown family dinner where we had picnics, outdoor games, fireworks and s'mores!
All in all it was an amazing month. We filled all our time with family and fun and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Summer Sun - June 2015

June was a super fun month for us. We had a lot of family time together and we really enjoyed ourselves! Started out the month with my birthday. The only photo I got was of Monet enjoying her doughnut :)

We continued to enjoy Tyson's Fridays off and went to the Museum of Curiosity. It was our first time there and the kids really loved it!
I think both the kids especially loved the water fun. This is where we spent the bulk of our time!
Tyson took me out to dinner for my birthday and his sister, Emily, watched our kids for us. When we got back to pick up the kids they surprised me with birth-day drinks and s'mores! It was a lovely summer night!
Kids are still growing like weeds!
Abe has been cracking us up with how often he will wear his Hulk gloves! He doesn't care that it is hard to get anything done with them on. He wants to wear them all the time!
Monet fell down and hit the corner of a coffee table on the way down. She cut her chin open and needed 3 stitches. She was not a happy camper about it.
I thought I could be a brave momma and take her on my own to get the stitches. As I was holding her down on the table (and the Dr was opening and closing the wound to show me how deep it was) I ended up passing out on top of Monet...... Turns out I probably shouldn't be the one to take the kids when they need stitches. I sat down and the nurses held down my little lady while the Dr did what he needed to do.
Monet had her toes painted for the first time
We spent a lot of time at the park.
Our niece, Ellie, had a birthday!
Monet got her stitches out, and daddy was the one to hold her this time.
We took a road trip to Wyoming! Tyson and Ben had a High School Reunion and we decided to make the trek up there and go! The kids did really well!
This is the house the Ellis family lived in when they were living in this part of Wyoming.
We were able to stay with Tyson's "second family" while we were there. The house he probably spent MOST of his teenage years at.
We were able to play at the park with cousins
We visited Tyson's high school and shoved Abe in Tyson's old locker.
The kids got to go to their very first Rodeo! Well the first rodeo for Monet and Abe at least.
We also had fun visiting different restaurants and shops in Meeteetse. We even hit up the local museum and learned all about the area. The kids loved exploring and we really had a great time!
