June Bugs

June was such a good month for us! We were able to celebrate birthdays and had a lot of time to play! We started by celebrating my birthday by going to Tucanos!

Might be weird, but this pregnancy I have wanted MEAT. So when I asked Tyson to take me to Tucanos for my birthday he was shocked and excited! 

We also went out for ice cream and Abe had his first cone! Mmmmm gotta love the kiddy cones!

We were then able to celebrate our niece, Ellie's birthday!

She looks like Boo from Monsters Inc so naturally her first birthday had that as a theme! She is just the cutest little lady!

We found out we are going to have a little lady of our own! Abe is going to have a little SISTER! Best birthday gift ever was finding out the gender of my new baby! It was so fun.

An old mission buddy of Tyson's came into town and we were able to visit with him. Abe and I loved getting to meet Therman and look forward to seeing him again in the future!

I was able to begin working from home with my job at JetBlue!

We were able to get started on painting the mural for Abe's big boy room. He is going to have a Superhero room!

We also added to our stockpile of FIREWORKS!

And we visited the zoo! It was Abe's first time and he loved all the animals.

Right now he only knows his monkey sound, so every animal at the zoo said oooo ooooo aaaah aaaah but thats okay. He is a cutie anyway!

Of course I just have to add in a random cute picture that has nothing to do with anything :)

May Flowers

One of our favorite things about owning our home is planting new flowers each year. We love to check out the different options we have and make our house look beautiful with the different colors.

I always love the tulips we have that come up each year. This year we also planted some beautiful lilies! We love them!

We started out our month with a bit of a scare from Abe. He started sleeping a lot and whining a lot. We could not figure out what was wrong with him. We just chalked it up to teething. Until.....

One day his cheek puffed up bigger than I have ever seen! And my Abe has big cheeks! Turns out he had a clogged salivary gland that was causing an infection. We took him to the Dr. and he told us we need to try and give him sour candies to get the blockage out. He warned us that babies don't usually love sour candy but to try and find something he will tolerate.....

Turns out after that first bite he was begging for more! This boy couldn't get enough of the sour candies! And sure enough, a few days, few packets of sour patch and some antibiotics later, my little man was back to himself and feeling much better.

Jonah had a birthday! The big 12 for this young man. 

I was able to graduate from my training at JetBlue. 

Tyson got me flowers for Mothers Day! I LOVED them!

We found out Abe loves to have popcorn!

We flew our first kite!

Abe loved running around with daddy and chasing the kite. He kept falling over though because it is a little hard to run around when you are looking up at a windy kite.

We were able to start having summer fun outside!

We also began gathering our stockpile for the annual Julyapalooza firework show. 

All in all, May was a good month!

April Parties

April was full of parties for our family this year! We had a lot of fun as the spring began to start and loved getting together so often with friends and family members!

Tyson and I find it very important to have date nights. Sometimes we do have to bring Abe with us but that is okay we still have fun! We decided to go to a Mexican restaurant called La Costa that we had never tried before and loved it! I think we have been back like 4 times since! And Abe LOVES the beans they serve!

The triplets next door had their first birthday and we were invited to celebrate with them. This means Abe was able to get in and experience his first bounce house!

It might have been a princess house but he loved it!

Our niece, Jordan, also turned one! Her big birthday gift was getting to announce that she is going to have a baby BROTHER!

We all sat and patiently waited for her to dig into her cake and tell us if the inside was blue or pink.

Then we were waiting too long so Ben cut the cake to show us it was BLUE! Yay for boys!

We got a wonderful gift from Tyson's mom this month. Over Tyson's mission he collected ties. Many people donated them and he has a few signatures. Tyson's mom took his favorite ties and made a few quilts out of them! She was able to finish this one and give it to us. We love it so much!

Speaking of missions and ties! Nathaniel came home from his mission! It was so fun to get and visit with him and hear all the mission stories he has to tell!

It was nice to see all the siblings back together again!

We were also excited to announce that we will be having another baby! Our little bean is due November 14th and we couldn't be more excited!

Abe is excited to be a big brother!

Random Happenings of March 2013

We didn't have any big events in March but we did have a lot of fun. So I thought I would put together a random post with the fun things we did in the month of March!

Adam had his first driving lesson........

He also had his first taste of FRENCH FRIES!

We found out Natalie and Levi will be having a baby BOY in July!

We had my good friend Anne stay with us for a few weeks. She also had her dog Roxie stay and Adam loved having a "goggie" around. I don't think Roxie liked it as much as Adam did though!

My Dad broke his leg.... Ouch

Adam took his first ride on a longboard!

We made a blanket fort while Tyson painted the play room at Nana's house.

We had an Easter Egg hunt at the Crown home! It is always so much fun to get together with family and have a little hunt!

Adam was scared of the grass but gladly found the eggs along the sidewalk!

It was here that we announced we will be having another baby in November!

We were then able to celebrate Easter with the Ellis side of the family as well. Where we found out

Emily will be having baby #5 in August! That means 4 grandbabies on that side of the family within 5 months of each other!

Tyson also finished the mural for the Peter Pan room but I am not allowed to put pictures up just yet.......a
